Churchill, Manitoba is famously known as the "Polar Bear Capital of the World". Each year in October and November, up to 1,000 polar bears migrate to the shores of Hudson Bay to wait for the ocean to freeze, offering the most accessible and concentrated polar bear viewing on the planet. In

October 2024, we ventured off to Churchill, Manitoba, Cananda to experience Polar Bears. Churchill is located along the southern edge of Canada's arctic. The Tundra Lodge was our home for the entire stay. Our feet never touched the ground the entire stay. Too Dangerous!!! The Tundra lodge was very efficient, like traveling by train. A very small cabin, fit just one person (snuggly), bathroom down  the hall and a restaurant at the end of the Lodge. Nothing fancy but everything you needed. A separate Tundra vehicle would pull up every day. You could walk directly from the Tundra Lodge to the Tundra vehicle; you never touched the ground. Viewing was spectacular at all times.
