I traveled from Hyderabad to Kochi in Southern India, where I experienced ancient architecture, observed endangered Bengal tigers, and interacted with the vibrant local culture. I feel fortunate to have captured the region’s people, wildlife, and landscape.
Southern India spans five major states (Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana) and two union territories (Lakshadweep, Puducherry). Defined by its distinct Dravidian heritage, it is known for lush landscapes, ancient temple architecture, and a tropical climate, offering a more relaxed, nature-centric contrast to the northern regions.
